3- or 4-board wood ranch

Classic horse-farm look. Pressure-treated pine or cypress. Paints white or stains dark, holds up in Florida with annual touch-ups.

Chain link

Most cost-effective for long runs. 4 or 6 foot heights, galvanized or black vinyl-coated. Good for livestock and dog containment.

Field fence / welded wire

For larger livestock (horses, cattle) with smaller animals mixed in. Heavier-duty than chain link, more flexible than wood.
